Minerva SRM’s core staff is drawn from backgrounds in both the private and public sectors, including global oil & gas companies, UK government departments, international NGOs and international organisations.

Minerva staff have worked across the globe, with especially strong experience across East, West and North Africa, the Near and Middle East and South and Central Asia.

Minerva staff are at ease operating in challenging developing world environments and accustomed to working effectively under pressure in hostile or unpredictable conditions.

Several Minerva staff are proficient negotiators, well-versed in winning the confidence of stakeholders, resolving points of conflict, agreeing realistic goals and devising collaboration structures and procedures.

All staff hold Masters qualifications in business, international development or technical disciplines and trained in understanding, stabilising and transforming conflict.

Staff technical skills range across civil engineering, strategic and operational planning, project and programme management, conflict transformation, stabilisation, building trusted and influential contacts, political economy analysis, infrastructure development, mine clearance, human security, communication and media, security risk management, social capacity building and finance, besides some useful languages.
